What is Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is a concept that is very vague for all us adults. It is a skill that we acquire overtime with out even realizing it. Sometimes our life experiences help us learn it and sometimes unfortunately they don’t. The problem is that we don’t have a proper way of teaching just these skills although these skills are the main requirement for us to succeed in life.

Critical thinking means that you can take pieces of information; remember them and then apply those skills in  a different situation to solve some very different problem.

The following pictures is a great visual explanation of the critical thinking concept for visual learners like me. This amazing picture is done by cartoonist Hugh MacLeod.
